Another week.... no more excuses!!

WOW a week goes fast!!

I keep telling myself off for not posting more than once a week, but I do have a genuine excuse this week...

Look who's here:
I was hoping to get all the seasons done before I launched them, but I can't keep you waiting any longer, so here are the first 2! Winter and spring....

And the reason I couldn't get the rest finished?....
I've been busy crafting! Since I started the website, I've hardly had any time to make cards, and I've missed it so much.... So I decided enough was enough this week, and got all my crafty stash out!! (plus bought a bit more...oops!)
Here are a couple I made using the new Pheobe and Maude Kits
I know what you are thinking.....NO, two cards haven't taken me a whole week!!.....

I've also made these using the new 4 Paws Colour it yourself pages.....

AND...... I've also set up a brand new blog, where I can show some of the cards I've made using other bits and bobs, I wanted to keep this blog as a shop blog, but also have a personal blog too! If you want to check it out please do:

So thats what I've been up to this week...... I'm not going to leave it so long in between posts again.....I promise...(wink!)

oops....... I did it again!!

Yet again, Pheobe and Maude have been pushed aside due to my overactive craft gland (that's not a real illness by the way, don't go to the docs with it!)

I've been working on more 4 PAWS designs, and yet another new range (only a couple to start with...)

I have written a very strict note to myself to get on with Pheobe and Maude this week!!

I do have the winter kit finished, and I'm halfway through spring.....

FREEBIES...

The Printables in the previous post seem to have been a hit!!! I'm going to work on some more soon (yes... after Pheobe is finished!!) Christmas ones seem to be in demand so perhaps I'll start there....

Well I'm off to do some 'REAL' Crafting...I havent made a card in weeks....

Hands up who wants....

FREEBIES....?!?!

Didn't I tell you I get bored quickly..... I'm meant to be working on finishing Pheobe And Maude, but Tracey gave me a fab idea the other day.... (Thanks Trace xx)

What do you think of these?

I've used the Halloween Papers, and The Bessie Trick Or Treat Images to create these rather cute little Printable treat (or trick..) boxes.

They are 5 1/2 cm square and 4 cm deep, perfect for filling with a few sweeties, or a little mini cupcake.

If you are planning a Party, Or you actually answer the door to trick or treaters (HEE HEE) These would be ideal!

They print with amazing quality on glossy paper, and they only take a few minutes to assemble....

And best of all, I'm offering the printable design... for zero pounds and zero pence!!

I'm going to be offering more of these printables through the shop soon, but while I'm testing what works, I'll be giving them away free so you can try them out, and let me know what you think....

Want to try them? Contact me and I'll email you the file (which is in pdf format).

but wait...theres more...

How would you like to also try these?

These Mini 'Mum' Gift bags are also FREE for you to try!!!

The papers are from the Pollys Pinks Set, I've designed them using existing papers, so you can create a card to match the bag. The bag comes in 2 seperate pieces.

These are 10cm x 5cm x 8cm and can be used for those little gifts that would get lost in a larger bag (jewellery etc...)

I've used foam pads to make the mum stand out, and added a little flower with a brad at the bottom. The tag has been attached with a hinged scrapbook ring, and I've used the same ribbon for the handles, and a little extra bow.

Wanna have a go at making them? Get in touch and I'll send you the printable pdf file!!

I'm still working on a set of instructions for these, but it is fairly easy to work out which bit goes where, if you score and fold all the lines first.

If you do need help, get in touch....

And now for something completely different....

You'll soon learn that I get bored easily, I can't concentrate on one thing and do it till its right!! I have to move on to something more fun when I get bored....

If you regularly stop by the shop, you'll notice that I'm always launching new ranges, and always changing the style of the designs.... I know when I launch a range I should keep adding to it...and I will eventually....(I Promise!!) but new ideas don't just pop into my head willy nilly, and when one decides to pay a visit, I think its rude not to let it in.....

Yesterday I had a visitation...

Meet PHEOBE AND MAUDE....

This visitation came in the form of a flashback I had to my school days, and actually started with the pattern forming the background of the logo, this pattern adorned many of my school books for years, and got me in trouble a few times...for some reason we couldn't draw on our french books!!

I used the pattern on the trees shown in the picture below:

The trees were actually where I started, and its strange that a little bit of inspiration just gets your creative juices flowing, Pheobe just came from nowhere!! Then her faithful companion Maude followed!!

The above image, and the ones below are the starting point of my first set... my plan is to do a set for each season.... bet you can't guess which season these are for......

The thing is though.... I'm not quite sure yet how to 'package' them, I normally offer my designs in decoupage form, purely becuase thats where I started, and thats where my customer base is...however, I'm not sure these will decoupage well because of all the tiny connecting bits, so I think I may leave these...'as is' I'm also contemplating a set of invividual jpeg images....rather than all the images together on a pdf sheet... what do you think? I think having the option to resize will be beneficial....

So there it is...my 'something different'... let me know what you think.....

Hey .....and while I'm on the subject this was my 'something different' for last week....LOL

I do get distracted easi.......

The missing 'B' files.....

There are SO many times I plan to add a post about one thing or another, and I either forget, or something comes up, or I simply just sit here and cannot think where to start...... so this is all of THOSE times rolled into one LONG post!!
Traceys swap:
Back in June, Tracey from craftsncapers ran a little card swap... The rules were pretty simple, the theme was 'thanks' and you had to use a pollycraft design somewhere on the card, now really I shouldn't have joined in... but I hate missing out on anything...!!
There were only 5 of us this time, but there is talk of another soon...so keep your eyes peeled!!!

Here are both the card I made and the card I recieved:

The Card I made for Sheena

The Card I received from Pam

This is a great way to discover how other people craft, and the techniques they use.... check out Traceys and Emmas blogs to see more swap cards...

AWARDS:
A while ago I received a couple of blog awards, but me being...well ME , I haven't yet got round to adding them here, or passing the awards on to others So here goes:

BOO !!!!!

Its ME!!........I'm Back!!!

You may (or may not..) have noticed that I have not been around for a week or so...
Thats because I've been here:

DISNEYLAND PARIS!!!!

The photo is a bit naff, I haven't had chance to look through them all properly yet, but I'll be adding a little slideshow when I've found some good ones.....

We went for 4 days, and the weather was Scorching HOT!! great if you want to lie around all day, but when you are walking round a busy park, and standing in queues for rides, its Horrible!!

Still..... we had a FAB time!! Went on loads of the rides, (including the new Tower Of Terror..OMG!!) and had my pic taken with my favourite alien STITCH from Lilo and Stitch....

Has taken me 2 days to recover though.... I need another holiday!!!
