Digital stamp theft

Okay, I'm REALLY annoyed I have to post this, as I wanted my DT call post to stay current, but I feel this HAS to be said...

If you are one of the unscrupulous people who are sharing Digital images via pinterest please be aware that almost all of the artists you are effectively stealing from have been made aware!

I know exactly who is stealing from me, and if I haven't contacted you already...expect to be hearing from me!
the worst part is that one of them is a regular commenter on this blog
and several of them have the 'stamp out digital theft' logo proudly displayed on their blogs!

I'm SO mad, I almost wish I hadn't reopened!

EDIT: Job done!!! till the next time...
EDITED AGAIN!! Its amazing what you find when you check repins and followers on pinterest! I wish I hadn't joined... I feel so betrayed!!

Please...everyone.... this is theft.... its not just the original uploaders that are infringing copyright, its all the repinners too....
check out this post on the 'stamp out' facebook page if you want to help stop this...

Oh no! This is terrible Paula. No wonder you are so annoyed. When people leave comments on your blog you think of them as friends in a way. Well, this is no way to treat a friend for sure.
I'll be back later to buy some of your fabby new images, please keep them coming!!!!

This is such a shame Paula, as it must have put the dampers on your re-launch, I do hope it doesn't put you off continuing, there are lots of us who are happy to get your fab images legitimately (I've already nabbed a couple from your shop!).

So sorry this has happened to you when you were off to such a good, new start! I have a bloggy friend who downloaded what she thought was a freebie image on Pintrest....she was appalled when I pointed out that it had been "nicked" by the original poster. But, on the other hand, some greedy people actually do it purposely....and it is undoubtedly THEFT! Hope it can be resolved to your satisfaction, hun. x

Some people have no respect for other people's property and it's shocking.

Read about this today on Facebook, absolutely disgusting. No wonder you are annoyed. I am not on Pinterest as I just don't have the time but I am so glad you know who it is.

I'm not on Pinterest but by Facebook I see what people are sharing by Pinterest and there are also digital stamps between the stuff. This shouldn't be possible, so very good you post this message and I hope that the right person will read it! Shame on her/him.

groetjes, Ellen

That's terrible. I get frustrated whenever I see an artists images on Pinterest and I know they shouldn't be there.

Bloody thieves! Why on earth do they think it's ok to steal some else's hard work?!

I hope they are ashamed of themselves, but they probably aren't.

I am glad to see that the folder containing Pollycraft images has been removed but there are still others :(.
Pinterest needs to sort this out.

I am glad yo are back but sorry you are having a bad beginning. I really missed your images and look forward to using them again. (PS I have already bought a couple).

This is such a sad thing to be happening.
I would dearly love to be able to join and apply for your DT but I will not and never will steal images to do so.
I hope you catch them all and if pinterest had any sense of decency they would disallow colouring images but I think like ebay they just don't care.

I've been really busy on pinterest checking to make sure none of Teddy Bo images appear and reporting pins of my other favourite Digis - Emailed Mo Manning, Krista Smith, Whiff of Joy. I hadn't seen your gorgeous images before visitng your shop this morning after seeing a post on a friends blog regarding your relaunch, but the whole pinterest thing is just so deceitful! Glad to hear that you have taken the steps necessary to deal with the person! Woo (Teddy Bo DT) xxx

I am quite new to pinterest and hadnt realised the images on there had been stolen until I spotted one that I knew was for purchase, I have now gone through my pins and deleted any that I cant trace the origin of to a proper site, its sad that people think £1 or 2 is too much to pay for someones talent. Now I will keep and eye out and report any I see in future. Its a shame your comeback has been marred by this. But now i am off to look at your new digis xx
