Its a Fairytale... Pollycraft Challenge #65

Goooooooooooooood Morning (see all those 'o's??? it must be good!!)

Today we have set you a new challenge over on the POLLYCRAFT CHALLENGE blog...

This weeks its the gorgeous Marias turn to set the theme

And she's chosen

'its a fairytale'

Another nice and easy one for you all!!!

I decided not to go down the route of Fairies and Princesses and came up with this...

Melody is lost in her fairytale world... dreaming of escaping to a castle on a hill top... of course she's got a craft room up in that big tower!! LOL!

For my card I've used...

Melody - My fairytale and Cherry Kisses - Castle

all coloured with promarkers

I think the background papers are Kay & Co... they were a RAK from the lovely Maria

I've handcut the cloud shapes and edged with a fineliner...

used a page from an old book...

and handwrote the 'dream' tabs...

I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out... and am thinking of framing it to go in my new craft room...

 (which my lovely hubby is working on as I type... can you hear all the banging??)

She reminds me of me... lost in my own little world... LOL!!

I'm so chuffed to be working with Sandra... I've been a huge fan of her work for AGES...

In my list of bookmarked blogs... Sandras is the second blog I EVER added!! (around 2 years ago I reckon!!)

anyway.... lol...

please give Sandra a HUGE Pollycraft welcome....

I'm sure you'll agree she will be a great asset to the team!!

Firstly a new challenge was set over on the challenge blog yesterday...

Anything goes!

No excuse not to join in... its SO easy!!!

'Tis the Season'

All are just 99p each!!

I've used 2 images from the Tis The Season range to create this Christmas card....

Hope you can see all the sparkle?

I've coloured The Door, and Santa, from the Tis the season range with promarkers...

Santa is cut out and attached with Foam pads..

The brick effect around the door was created with a fiskars embossing plate, and then i inked over it for definition... I quite like it...

With all these new Christmas images, you've got no excuse not to join in with Marias Challenge over on the Pollycraft PCP group...

All you have to do is enter a Christmas card!! easy peasy, and there are 3 prizes to be won!!

The challenge has been extended til the 10th!

Swirls and Pearls

Perfect!! as yesterday I got an order from Quixotic Paperie... containing some gorgeous Viva Decor pearl pens... and a Whimsy stamps Carousel horse set which had a beautiful swirl stamp in it!!

(yes, I left my card till the last minute...sorry Cathy!)

Anyhoo... here it is...

I've used Kiki Rose Fairy, and coloured her with promarkers...

I've just used Graph paper as my Background, as I wanted to use the swirl stamp...

The cardstock and ribbon are stampin up..

'WISH' is cut using  a sizzix die

Embossing is done using a cuttlebug folder

Pearls with the viva decor pens...

and thats about it...

Marias Christmas Challenge on the PCP group...

Hi everyone!!

Firstly I need to apologise for seemingly dropping off the planet....

I am still here!!!

 as you are aware from the previous post, we had a nightmare with the shop while we were on holiday!! (typical right?)

BUT...fingers, toes and eyes crossed.... everything is okay now.... PHEW!!

I'm popping on tonight to let you all know that my FABULOUS DT member Maria has just set a little Christmas challenge over on our Papercraft Planet group....

Nice and easy... use a Pollycraft image to make a Christmas Card....

Heres one I made earlier...

I've used one of the New Lilybean snowfairies...

Coloured her with promarkers and pastels...

The Papers are MME, and the sentiment is a freebie from a mag.
