Swirls and Pearls

Perfect!! as yesterday I got an order from Quixotic Paperie... containing some gorgeous Viva Decor pearl pens... and a Whimsy stamps Carousel horse set which had a beautiful swirl stamp in it!!

(yes, I left my card till the last minute...sorry Cathy!)

Anyhoo... here it is...

I've used Kiki Rose Fairy, and coloured her with promarkers...

I've just used Graph paper as my Background, as I wanted to use the swirl stamp...

The cardstock and ribbon are stampin up..

'WISH' is cut using  a sizzix die

Embossing is done using a cuttlebug folder

Pearls with the viva decor pens...

and thats about it...

Marias Christmas Challenge on the PCP group...

Firstly I need to apologise for seemingly dropping off the planet....

I am still here!!!

 as you are aware from the previous post, we had a nightmare with the shop while we were on holiday!! (typical right?)

BUT...fingers, toes and eyes crossed.... everything is okay now.... PHEW!!

Nice and easy... use a Pollycraft image to make a Christmas Card....

Coloured her with promarkers and pastels...

The Papers are MME, and the sentiment is a freebie from a mag.

ANNOUNCEMENT AND APOLOGY

AT THE MOMENT WE ARE ON HOLIDAY AND HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY WITHOUT INTERNET FOR NEARLY A WEEK.

Hello... where did that week go?

Good evening crafters!! Sorry its been a while since my last post...

my head is all over the place preparing for our holidays, and with having my little man around the house too, I don't know if I'm coming or going...

Firstly I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined in with the 'Flash your freebies' challenges... It was so lovely, firstly to see some of the older freebies being used, but then all the different ways everybody used the Tortoise Digi...

I think in future I'll be doing this more often....

Now me being me... and not really being very princessy myself... I went for an anti-princess....

is it wrong that I love this card??

I'm not normally a purple user, but, I bought these DIGI papers from a cherry on top and I thought they were yummy!!

Cherry Kisses 'lil miss attitude' is coloured with promarkers

for the 'princess' I hand doodled the letters onto one of the papers, and then had cut...

the little crown is also doodled, and the 'dont call me' is handwritten....

not much on this card really... just added a couple of pearls at the top...

We went to watch Toy Story 3 last night, that was my birthday treat...LOL, I'm such a big kid!!
